Having lived in the Coachella Valley my whole life, I know how to deal with sand. I always take the time to remove as much dirt as possible with the use of a vacuum, dry brush, or leaf blower before the washing even begins. Once clear, I use a traditional method of strip washer, water and a static-free soap specifically designed for windows (and safe for UV protection films or coatings on glass) to scrub the glass. I then use a rubber belt squeegee to remove the water and soap. I finish up with a surgical cloth around the edges of the glass and window frames.
